      Are you behind a router? You mention you got it to work on your work PC? Did you configure your router? Have you made any changes to it, or are you even behind a router?

      computer --> router --> modem

      As mentioned previously, try:

      computer --> modem

      Try resetting your router and/or modem, that seems to help with alot of TCP/UDP transfer errors.

        Just wondering, now that you worked the unlock, can you see your stats in BFHQ in-game? Are they updating regurlarly? If so, then it must have been a EA problem, not on your end.

          This is all pretty lousy. I unlocked my first gun a long time ago and have since played a lot, but I'm not ranking. Not gaining any experience at all.

            Natra, play on offical EA Servers. The server must be ranked to collect points. EA Official, EA Hosted, and TrinityGames.com Hosted server seem to be the best when it comes to reporting stats quickly. Also remember that screen shots are only taken at the end of a round. So if you quit 1/2 way through a round and quit, your stats for that round do not count.
