Hi to all in this great forum.
There is one thing that annoyes me. Why punk the n00bs? I had no experience at all with the BF series, and had to start on scratch when I bought BF2. Its really great, but I had to learn it the hard way. You people have killed me in every possible way the last weeks. But I`m learning, and I`m getting better. (to bad I cant play like 10hrs a day as some people obviously do, so I just made it to lance crp yesterday..)Its no use to tell me when I suck, ...I`m pretty aware of that! Give the n00bs a friendly "thanks" when they (we) are doing it right, and ignore the errors. (or correct it in way so we learn)..and why don`t people stop and pick me up when they are passing in an empty jeep, and I ask for a ride? ..just answer "no way man". That is annoying..much more than a clumsy n00b.
But BF2 really rocks! See you guys on the servers!!

A lot of people have reasons for doing things that may seem really asslike, like riding past you in a jeep. By the way, if you want to get into a jeep run directly in it's path while holding E.

Here's a great thread...
I've play the all series os Conflict DS I/II/NAM(easy&hard), quake at work w/ mates... and in this game I try to do good...
Hate to see, guys getting mad at me when i fail on something. I got some experience by now and never get mad when suffer from an (even more) noob.

I try not to be harsh to new people. To be honest I don't think I;ve ever really commented to anyone about thier skill level. I picked the Battlefield series up on BF2 but I just naturally fit into the gameplay.

I remember the days when I'd be last alove on my team on CS 1.6, knowing my whole team was speccing me and me heart was pumpin lol. Ah, the newby days. Believe me, savour being a newb while you can... everything gets tainted once you get used to stuff.. once you seem stuff too much ect...

Calling people Noobs reflects badly on the caller. Its schoolground stuff. I have been playing multiplayer FPS since Quake. I never have dissed anyone as a Noob.
In fact when I hear someone being called a noob I usually have a go at the caller.
We need more people to play games and grow our sport. We dont want to be seen by the general public as a bunch of spiteful nerds. Everyone was new to a game once. BF2 is only out a short while, yet people were being called noobs on day 1?
If you see someone who does not know what they are at, offer some friendly advice. Dont insult them. Would you like your little brother/sister/son/daughter to be spoken to abusively when they try to get into a game?

Heh good luck man. Just pay attention to how people play, and try to pick up on some techniques that you might like to apply to your game. Also work in Squads and Follow your teammates. Good luck noob, welcome to the battlefield.

Sometimes people drive past you because they are squad leader and are expected 2 more squadmates to spawn with them.

I know I have felt bad when I do this as squad leader, but I usually try and call out 'Negative'....unfortunately 'No Way Man!' sounds so freaking rude

Since the dawn of time, people have belittled others to make themselves feel better. You just have to roll with the punches and be the bigger person.

Knifing them doesn't hurt, either!
