ok i seem to have found a fix for all the problems i was having. i reinstalled bf2 in different directory. i also reinstalled my audigy 2 zs drivers and x800pro drivers. after that i went here and followed the safe configuration for stopping services in win xp pro. set my agp latency to 64 and my agp aperture to 128mb. to my suprise things are running pretty smoothly now. i played for about an hour and things ran the best ive ever seen them. after that i did notice some stuttering and jerkiness but nothing like before. no strange textures or crashing to desktop either. now i just want it too be this smooth all the time.
