In my opinion there should be some changes to earning the gold/silver/bronze medals... People can just jump in a ranked server with 10 players and earn a bunch of medals that way. It is obviously harder to earn those medals on high poulated servers. My suggestion would be this:

Bronze:
1st on a server with less than 20 players
2nd place on a server with 20-40 players
3rd place on a server with 41+

Silver:
1st on a server with 20-40 players
2nd on a server with 41+

Gold:
1st on a server with 41+

JUST A THOUGHT... I only say this because I play to have fun and earn the badges as I go. I know that you have to do some things out of your normal realm of play to earn some of the awards but I see people with normal stats that have a ridiculous number of gold/silver/bronze star awards. It would be nice to just have a server player count requirement added...

i personally dont like.... but thats just because i usually tend to play on either 16 player or 32 player servers... more fun i think..... also cant run 64 maps to good :p

Yeah, I have a few gold medals that IMO I didn't really deserve. I used to play 16 player servers before I figured out how to fix up my lag, and then I moved on to the 32 player servers. The matches on the 16 player servers ended fast enough as it was, but a lot of the times with the map being so small, one team had taken all the bases and the match was over before the other team was done "Verifying Client Data". Not fun to click "Join Game" to start a new match and find out you've already lost 99-0, and only one person on your entire team even had a chance to spawn. I've gotten gold medals from having 8 points before, which is ridiculous.

I don't think commander's should get stars, maybe some special medal for commander, but it's really easy to get a gold medal as commander if your team wins, while the players who racked up a lot of points so you could win, get pushed to silver.

I never play on less than 64 if I have a choice.

I don't have the world's greatest computer so with those suggestions I would never be able to get a gold medal.

You said you just play for fun and get badges as you go, so the way it is shouldn't be a problem to you right?

i agree, like mentioned above, i've seen peopel with 50 gold stars! I have a 1 in 64 chance of getting gold, silver, or bronze because I only play on 64 game servers, when you earn on there and not a commander you did really good...

Yeah, I was waiting to see who would catch that. :p I just had the thought because I saw some people with almost identical stats but one person's medal count was outrageous... it just seemed that they were doing something like joining small servers on purpose to get these awards. I would just like the awards to be earned rather than handed out, thats all. I am not upset about it... It is just a thought that entered my mind :)

STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT CRAP THAT IS"NT EFFECTING YOU.

A first, 2nd or 3rd is the SAME DAMN THING no matter how many people are in the game. If you can't get them in large servers, it's not going to be easier in medium or smaller servers.

Everyone needs to get a grip and stop bitching about things that don't matter or concern you if you are playing for fun like a normal person.
