Something i just thought of.... How is playing in a "knife/pistol only" server any different from playing in a "Strike at Karkand only"

EA has nothing against server admins that only play one type of map or just one map all the time IMHO. The fact that admins have control over the maps played on servers reflects this.

What admins can't do is tell people how to play the game or force them to play in a way that the game wasn't meant to be played in (ranked server only of course).

What don't you understand? He DIDNT stat pad his way to the top.

He went on a knife server for a bit too see what it was like. Some idiot then took a screenshot and now his stats are reset.

He didn't deserve it all. I'm sure he's the only one who's stats have been reset from going on a knife only server.

Even though he got his 100,000 points completely fairly.

Alot of you are just jelous.

He played for 500+ hours. He was top of the leader board for weeks and weeks before the knife/pistol servers first appeared. Everyone looked at his stats and didn't see anything wrong. Then he started playing on the 'bad' servers and threads appeared on several forums (here, PlanetBattlefield and the EAUK forums) concerning the fact that he was playing on these forums and then his stats were reset.

No action was taken against any others playing on those servers at the same time it seems.

I don't feel bad for this guy at all. I ran into him in an EA server a couple nights ago, and he TK'd me to take the bomber. Does he stat pad? Maybe not, I dunno, I haven't witnessed it. But I think he is a rather sad person, when he has to TK a friendly to take the plane and try to increase his stats. Ah well, I got him back, and ended up with a fairly decent score. *shrugs*

EA should just remove the ****ing global leaderboards, and make stats on you only.

There is too much whinging and ******** artists complaining about things and people how have and never will effect them or their gameplay in any way other than some stupid leaderboard.

Honestly, what's next? Someone posts a shot of someone play in a karkand 24\7 server with 250 points because they medwhore or are the commander? Then they reset that persons stats. Or they ban 24\7 karkands?

Or someone posts about a 24\7 Mashturr server with somoene with 250 blackhawk points? Do they reset that account or ban 24\7 Mashturr.

This is a slipery slope. EA are truely becoming worthy of their "EA = Nazi" gif. Or perhaps a new "EA = NKVD" gif. There are people on a hysterical witchhunt, and EA are only happy to oblidge them to keep control of the "ranked" servers, and their exorbant prices.

Hopefully a decent mod will come out, be up to desert combat level of people playing, and we can all forget about the rank system.

Why do people look up to this guy so much?? It takes some sort of emotional disorder to play a game all day every day. Perhaps if he gets his stats reset it will be a wake up call for him to leave his PC for more than a moment. There's nothing sad about his stats getting reset. There's something VERY sad about the fact that people spend that much time playing a game.

stats have completely ruined this game.

Without stats, people would play for FUN, and not have their primary aim on getting points.

People would help each other, rather than play sit behind the spawn point in a tank.

You either have a ranked server that is obsessed with points, but is full.
Or you have an unranked server, that is mostly empty, but mainly concerned with fun.

Let me remind everyone, he was at the top of the "Leader Board" not the "Best Player Board" there are alot of great players out there that dont stat pad or only have so much time to play. Lets put the "Leader Board" in perspective......One could claim to be the lead bitch in prison, sure it sounds important...but its no where I would want to be.....
As for him getting his stats wiped,....who cares....it does not effect me...

yeah i doenst care me 2! :) prolly you all care otherwhise there wasnt a topic about it right? i only play for fun not for stats. and now i can finally unlock a weapon i didnt have and maybe im getting back in on the first page (after a year )

Let me rephrase to make it simple, just because you are the leader does not mean your the best player...
