looks like his stats havent been reset. bf2 tracker says hes still a gunnery sergeatn with 104,000 points playing dragon valley on a9 ranked server. last battle 1/9/2005

I went on a knife and pistol server (joined a game off xfire) and I left right away (this was weeks ago), why you ask? Because the scores were 300 and everyone was a corp or higher. When I joined I knew it was stat padding and going against the rules.

Pistol/knife servers are great I guess but it shouldnt be ranked, its against the rules and if that guy got his stats reset... oh well. He knew it was against the whole ranking rules or at very least he knew it was stat padding. Whatever happen Im glad EA cracked down on him and whoever else used the pistol/knife server (thats includes me for the 5 minutes I was there)

Ranks and medals mean nothing to me, the only reason I play is to have fun and the only reason rank matters a little to me is because of unlocks.

well its really sad what happened to him... he tought he wasn't gonna get caught..

he has skils tought.. seen him play b4 even knife pistol servers appeared.

yup hes reset, no doubt about it, nothing more can be done, just let him play and hope he learned his lesson. I cant wait to see how many more stats they reset.

he was NOT stat padder.

Just because he played on a kinfe only server to give it a try, and some idiot took a screenshot does not mean he cheated his way to the top.

Yeah I feel sorry for him too. Being at the top for so long people were always looking at his score on a daily basis and found nothng 'wrong' besides his love of tanks :)

The thing that freaks me out a little though is that the last time he posted on this board was about 13 hours ago where someone had taken a screenie of him playing on a knife/pistol server and he replied by saying 'report to EA'.

Just to be clear - EA have always been clear about what the rules are of 'Ranked' Servers and the game were, I suggest you read the EULA (which you agreed to if you are playing the game), this is why most people objected to the pistol/Knife/Revive stat padding servers because it was clear to them that they contravened the EULA and the integrity of the stats system.

These people were told to STFU because (a) it was fun and (b) the people who paid for the server could run it how they wanted. So stop whining now that you didn't know what the rules were LMAO the expression "Take your oil" springs to mind.. I hope there are many many more accounts to be reset let alone this one ..LMAO!!!

Something i just thought of.... How is playing in a "knife/pistol only" server any different from playing in a "Strike at Karkand only" You can get a lot more points in those servers per hour with a tank then with a knife i bet.

In fact if you look at everyones scores that play more then 50% of the time in Karkand they have DOUBLE the "highest round score" then any other map I hope EA ban thoses servers as well as resetting the users stats. Any server that runs "city maps only" is exploiting the scoring system.


What are the thoughts of people that have posted thier hatred towards Electrik on this matter?? Hopefully Ea will have a response soon. Let the Debate (flaming) begin

does this mean that you can get reset your stats if you play on a Knife/pistol only server and earn many points on them...if yes then its pretty lame

Although some of you think it's harsh for all the time he spent in the game, BUT why didn't he spend his time playing the game properly, instead of cheating everyone by stat padding. He's the only one to blame it was blatantely obvious this was going to happen :)

Teaves...why do you think that EA should Ban karkand servers..Strike at Karkand is the most loved map in the game and there are not many urban maps..and urban maps are the only ones where you can get som real infantry combat...sure you get many points on these maps, but if people love them we not let them play...i think its ok with the 24/7 servers and im not stat padding..i normally get between 40-70 points..and my highest score is on Kubra dam as Commander..
