Tired of C4 Noobs

I was just on a german server where everyone with a clan tag (and a few who didn't) were loading up anything faster than an apc with C4 and ddriving it into the nearest enemy even just infantry, when they could have just run them down with it woteva, this is the lamest tactic and it annoys the victim and its a needless death to the "killer" no skill no talent involved

Stats are more important to people than playing to win. Explosives kills are needed for badges. Jihad jeeping is hella fun sometimes. Find another server.

Its not lame, in fact its one of the only methods you'll ever get that explosive ordinance badge. If you've got a better idea and can get it I wana see it.

I spent all of yesterday trying to get that badge through the c4'ed vehicle method. After nearly -500 points being penalized to my teamscore, I found out that the rounds are too short, and I'd have to find a server running larger maps, >=(

well, tbh, i got my expert explosives (37 kills) and only used one jihad jeep (to kill 2 guys). so there are definately better tactics out there than suicide jeeps

Claymores are awesome, but I've had to stop going for my badge more than once because I got 2 or 3 TK's and didn't want to get booted.

That's the only badge I have yet to get, but I got pretty close a few times. I think that's one that's on the shelf for me until the patch is released.

haha its funny, i remember trying to go for basic and i had such a problem with it, must have gotten like 50 TK's in different servers trying different methods. finally i was lucky and got it with suiciding jeeps. Now when i tried for expert a few days ago, i really had no problem at all (used only 1 jihad jeep), actually managed to get it with a 3rd of the tickets remaining. I guess after using explosives alot you really learn how to be effective with them

Try changing your tactic, when you see a car approaching your position move out the way, or have your squad shoot at it before it is within explosion range. In BF42 this and kamakazi attacks were practically the best way to destroy good tankers. It is a tactic that isnt lame; and isnt newby. If it kills you, obviously its not newby, cause' it got you didnt it?

Noob question: does the c4 on the front of vehicles automatically explode when rammed into another vehicle? I always thought the suicide bomber needed to get out of the vehicle and detonate it using the remote..

haha, so true. those internet badges will get you pretty far in real life.
