How do I get higher resolutions... or am I already...

Hi all. I see some peoples video screenshots with 1600x1200 showing in the resolution... I don't have that option. I can bring it to the 1280 x 960 res only (weird res). I changed my resolution through the shortcut (the whole -szx, -szy thing) to 1680x1050 but I am not sure if it really gives me that res or is just stretching. I am using a widescreen so there probably is some since the game doesn't support it inside the GUI settings (I did put -widescreen 1 in the shortcut) for some reason....

I also see some people's settings on the shadows and such as 'VIDEOSETTINGS_UltraHigh' as opposed to the usual 'Ultra High' you can select... is there somewhere else to tweak video other than ingame and the command line I don't know about?

I'd hate to think I am missing out on something....

The VIDEOSETTINGS_UltraHigh is the Ultra High setting, and it shouldn't (By default) be available ingame. Only "high" should be.

Also you shouldn't put "- widescreen" it should be "+widescreen" or "+zsx 1680 +zsy 1050" .

See if that works. It may not, and even if it DOES, it may stretch and distort the picture.

You can take a screenshot while in-game, and check if the dimensions of the ss is that which you set in the command line to verify it set res correctly.

Ok, so how can I get Ultra High available?

Oh, and I did put +widescreen and all that.... I just couldn't remember the prefix symbol :)

I have an 1600 x 1200 lcd
it is not an option in video
how do I do the correct "cmd ref" in the normal shortcut
