    hi guys i like many people want more RAM as i only have 512mb. I think its ddrsd and the guy on the corsair forums said based on my motherboard (microstar 7091) that i should get twinx 1024-3200 but i thought id ask u guys.     Just standard DDR400 will work. There is more out there that will work just as good as the kingston at a lower price. You'll want to get a matched set though so you can run in dual channel.

    BTW: This thread should have been posted in hardware.

          Speed, its all about speed. One stick is used to write and one to read. Simular to a RAID setup for hard-drives. It just increases performance.



          As for the DDR. I would get Corsair. I have it in my machine and I love it. Look for DDR400 (PC3200) with low CAS timings. There is some on NewEgg.com (1GB) with CAS Timings of 2-3-3-6 which is pretty good, for $115.
