Rocket shooting through vehicles

I have been noticing a lot lately that when I shoot a rocket it shows on my screen that it is going through a vehicle. This has happened with tanks, transports, helos and jeeps. I am told that it hit but on my screen I see the rocket go right through with no hit indicator. I have also noticed this with tank shells sometimes.

Anyone else notice this?

I've shot AT through Blackhawks all day long. It's not a bug, it's actually featured in one of thier promo videos. Tanks? Jeeps? WTF?

yup i fired a missile and it went right through an APC.....other people have had this bug too.

I have this other thing where in a TOW I fire and i hear the sound but the missile doesnt come out, and I click again and then it flies out. :s

don't worry man, it's just a visual illusion. the vehicle does register the damage. if you manage to hit it again, it will blow up (if it's an APC).

Sometimes. I had that in a battlerec video, a tv guided went through and it took a bit of time before it blew (a second), but what he is talking here is it goes right through and never takes damage.

Most annoying shooting through a FAV which proceeds to squish you.

OK, just making sure. Daz I have had that prob too. You go to click and nothing shoots but oyu hear a sound then you let off and click again and it does.

It happened to me twice today, luckily I was the one on the recieving ened, so two seperate missiles managed to fly through my LAV and cause no damage.

This just happened to me, kinda.

Was in the HJ8 near the hotel, shot a LAV, except it showed the explosion animation but the rocket trail kept on going and no damage was done.
