I just bought a Server for our new Clan and want to know how to make it ranked. I don't need or want to rent a ranked server for 8 million dollars a month. Is there a website, or do I have to contact EA?

Congrats on buying an unranked server that will never fill up :)
You are screwed because EA isn't going to say "Ohh yeah sure, here's the ranked build! Just don't tell anyone about it! Oh, and here's a copy of Battlefield 3."
You either have to buy a server from a ranked server company for a rediculous price, or buy an unranked server that no one will ever join. Choose wisely.Comment

That is reserved for EA's subpar hardware lag servers, and trusted partners. Some of the others (not EA) are great servers.
Your server will always be unranked and if you do manage to get people to join, they will soon leave and never return if they didn't know ti wasn't ranked.
Many clans/communites ran several high quality BF1942 or DC servers, either they owned or rented them. But now can only run 1 32 player subpar ranked server for the same price.
It sucks, but that's how it is.Comment

Ahhh Come on Fusion, i was just pointing out your bluntness. I'm sorry...If what you guys are saying is true then EA SUCKS! I didn't waste my money, i'll just use it elsewhere. How do these people like game-daemons get their ranked servers then? Is EA only issueing "Ranked" status to legitimate business's. You mented trusted partners, then what does it take to be trusted. **** on it, we'll just play on other people's money
Have you guys seen EA is going to rent their own high speed no lag servers for $8 per slot per month! That's why I bought my own server.
That's a 100% return on invenstment in less than 4 months assuming they are actually buying real servers. That's robbery.Comment

For pracs and stuff. They'll propably PREFER it to be unranked, as they won't have to deal with EA's ********.Comment
