Red Circle

After you die, you click on the white circle of the flag you want to spawn at, what the hell is up with the red circle? It won't let you select it so you can spawn. This only happens every once in a while to me.

If that particular spawn point is occupied/blocked, and there is nowhere to spawn, it will be red. Generally a result of to many people at your base.

means that all the areas where people spawn at around the flag are full and the game wont let you spawn there because another teammate occupies that space

basically it happens if noobs stand around too long. frustrating, i know.

I get this once in a while, but if you close/re-open the spawn screen it usually goes away for me and I'm free to spawn there...

I always thought it meant there were too many enemies nearby, but what you guys said probably makes more sense. :)

and when i was a noob medic back in the demo, i wondered what was up with the wierd spawn point icon.

Turned out it was a dead solder on the spawn point waiting to be revived.

happened all the time and i had no idea what it meant.

i think the red spawn means that it is currently beeing attacked by an enemy, and spawning would be suicide. at least thats the only timee it happens to me

DLWebmaestro, what do you do out at Pax? I do government contracting work for NAVFAC out of the Washington Navy Yard and find myself out at Pax, Indian Head and Dahlgren quite often..

I have a relative down at Pax as well...works for Boeing on base (formerly McDonnell Douglas)

Red circle at spawn means that there is no clear spawn area at that point. Give it one sec and it clears up....
