Joystick recommendations

I'm not a huge joystick fan but I'd like to improve my record with plans in BF2 so I'm looking for a cheap but decent stick to use, preferably one I can buy in the UK.

Any advice?

Saitek x52 http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/x52.htm is a uber stick lots of buttons "fully programmable" and an independent throttle that is oh so useful for chopper / flying in BF2 "Saitek" also has a full support forum it is a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. There are other less expensive Saitek controls that others speak highly of. Main page link..... http://www.saitek.com/
Tip before buying a controller do a web search and see what support the product has and what others have to say about it.

I have a logitech extereme 3d pro and I love it. I've had it since BF:V came out and has worked well ever since.

But I still recommand a joystick for the right hand while piloting.

I'm a firm believer and proud owner of an n52 as well

My thoughts exactly when I was asking about it.
My hands are quite large and the adjustable size of grip works well for me.
All the buttons on both the throttle and flight controller easily used by your fingers and thumbs.
It is fully programmable by that i mean that any of the buttons can be programed to do more than one keyboard action eg you can eject from a jet and parachute with one press of a button. Alter the % of X & Y axis.
You can program the X52 for more than one game etc etc etc. It makes gaming so much more pleasurable.

There are three down sides I found but the plusses outweigh these 10 fold.
It's seams to be designed for right handers only.
Takes a lot of room up.
The suckers (for me) are as much use as a chocolate fire guard i bought some heavy duty velcro makes such a difference.

Having had one or two different sticks in the past i find this to be the best so far.

Any of oyu know how to use the logitech dual stick controller??? thanks!
