Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
I forgive almost 90% of the time, it has to be something fairly intentional b4 I'll punish..
I hate being punished, therefore I don't go around doing the same....
If someone punishes me for no good reason (e.g. drives into my mines, or runs up to a smoking tank which I have just blasted, then dies) then I will damn well punish them if they TK me. Even if I have to martyr myself under their jeep to do it
For those of you who haven't seen it, I want to post a link to one of my favorite threads. It deals with the TK/Punishment issue and is absolutly hillarious. For those of you who are familiar with it already, my apologies...

I punish if it is deliberate but i dont if its not. If a person does it again unless player says sorry or 100% convinced its an accident then i punish. Again after that the punish whatever
I thought of a decent thing. If the requirements for being kicked from the server, were changed from 5 team kills to, 5 punishes. Then the real players who teamkill on purpose will be banned, its hardly likely that you will get 5 teamkills in a round let alone 5 punishes too so i think everyone is happy.
So the punish doesnt minus your score anymore than -2 automatically. But makes you elegable for a kick. So even if you are crap and teamkill but its an accident you can leave it to your players to descide, because at the moment, forgiving is basically worthless.
Sucks though when a member of your own god damn squad punishes you just because another FAV drove into your DPV and killed us all. Its complete ********.
At this moment in time i allways forgive as i know how annoying it is to be punished, unless i know for sure they did it on purpose.
good idea on paper, but I can't tell you how many times a full BH I was piloting was rammed by a jet, then the ensuing explosion of the BH credited me with 5 TK's.
Everytime that has happened, at least one of those crew members has punished me...
That would not work as many players punish no matter how the TK occurred. Unfortunately many don't have the maturity to recognize an accident or of course they are trying to knock your score down so they stand a better chance of being in the medals. And yes stats whores really are lame enough to do that later example.

You can get 5 team kills if you kit a wrong transport vehicle, like a blackhawk helecopter or a perssonell carrier type of thing
the best option for EA to implement in the 1.03 patch would be for a TK to automatically go 'unpunished' rather than the defaut punish as it stands right now.
More than once I'll have been TK'd by a friendly accidentally and just totally forgot to forgive and it punishes.... I say sorry, but the damage is done. I wouldn't doubt that many times where a vehicle expodes due to a crash (and it credits the pilot/driver with TKs - another bug) some players don't even realize they were TK'd and just continue playing which results in the defacto punish.
Unless there's some blatant teamkilling going on punishing isn't appropriate and I now try to play exclusively on servers where this feature is disabled. (Thank-you to all the admins who've decided to go this route)
As for punishing pilots - well, if you're all by yourself capping a flag and get bombed, by all means. But realize that a pilot is going after armour and concentrated groups of infantry, not simply flags. So if you are TK'd but also see that three or four enemies also died try to be a little forgiving

God post!
This whole punish TK part of the game is a distraction. Find good servers (as others suggested) and the problem takes care of its self. Would like to have a thread to list bad TK servers (althought the list will probably bee too long making it ineffective). <Grin>
i think it should be up to a honest player 0 points lost for a forgivin tk and 6 lost for a punish one now i kno that sum ppl will punish for no reason but we have that now anyways
i dont punish if c4/mines/claymores(if its my fault) but if im in the middle of the street and some1 kill me with a vehicle i punish and if like iv been tk 10 times in 5 minutes i punish(but i dont punish my firneds =))
We have the punish feature turned off on our server, so that every TK goes "unpunished." You really don't need the punish system when you have good admins monitoring the server. If someone's TKing on purpose... kick.
