Anyone ever gotten an [Mk81 GP BOMBS] kill?



I'm pretty sure that the guy that got the kill was the pilot at the time, but then again, maybe not.. The Mk81 is a dumb bomb and probably is what the F-15 pilot drops. I was waiting for my F-18 to respawn so I'm not too certain.

But notice how the person killed with the Mk81 had just been killed by [F-15], so he got double killed

yeah I've noticed that too. I've also noticed a lot of times this scenario...

say an M1A1 Tank shoots a T-90, the T-90 driver gets out and his tank explodes. A lot of times the M1A1 driver will get a kill acredited to the T-90 and not his own tank. I'll try to get a screen shot of it

I would prefer the game saying a player got killed MK81 GP Bomb than the lame fighter's model. That name looks damn sweet.

Well, that's because the M1A1 driver caused the T-90 to blow up, and the T-90 explosion killed the enemy. I've actually done that with the MEC fighter on Clean Sweep. A squad was holed up in the hanger and the fighter spawned, so instead of trying to pick off each guy, I just aimed the FAV gun at the fighter to blow it up.. Got 3 kills using the jet when I had been standing in the back of the FAV :)

Aside from the Mk81 part, the double kill part is kinda cool. If this had been a ranked server, I wonder where the kill would be recorded in the stats?

Yea, that's kinda cool. I mean, when killed by infantry it doesn't say [SpecOps], it says the weapon the SpecOps guy used.

want to get an MK81 kill... drop bombs... bail out and if you kill anything it shows up as MK81... i wonder what the bombs the fighters drop are

I've been killed by the [Hydra 70] before. Those are the unguided helo rockets.
