Server browser is only showing 24 games

I am only seeing 24 games in my battlefield 2 game browser. This is despite the fact I have no filters on and I downloaded the 1.02 patch a month or so ago. I have not played for a few weeks. Has there been a patch since then? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Download All Seeing Eye or the BF2 autoloader (google will find them) and see if you still only get 24 servers.

Well, I installed the autoloader and I am not getting any games. When I get into the master server list, no servers are shown. Even when I push apply filters, I get nothing.

Also, my stats in BFHQ are erased. They were there three weeks ago when I last played BF2.

I can't find any servers when playing counterstrike source either, but my internet connection works fine and I can play Guild Wars. The in game server browser still only shows 24 games.

Any help would be apperciated. Thank you.

have you selected same version in the filters?

I tried reinstalling the game and applying the 1.02 patch and I get the same problem. I get 31 servers when I choose the same version filter and 33 when I don't. When I chose one of the 31 servers, the game says I cannot connect to it.

Has anyone had this problem? Could some crazy firewall have been setup automatically without me know in the last three weeks? Thanks.

Double check Windows Firewall. And check that your other firewall is allowing the new version of BF2 full access to the internet.

It seems to be a problem with your machine and/or Inet connection rather than the game.

Someone had the same problem a couple of week back. Turns out that his ISP was blocking the ports needed to get the list of servers as BF2 was trying to download the list too quickly.

had a smiliar problem after resetign my router
all of a sudden
had to open certain ports
maybe because I reset after game was installed?
