Some servers have an extended time limit at the start of a round and that gives you time to chat about last game.

Most of the time people have No Clue that the map is about to end, I will try to remember to say it but if im ****ed then I say nothing.

I think your dreaming baggy, seems to me this game is on a different level then most fps games. There seems to be almost no sportsmanship on your team or on your opponents team. With all the bs that can happen and bunnyhopping etc. TK punishers etc. I don't think anyone has the patience to deal with saying GG anymore which is an fps staple so it is a little sad but on the other hand, this is a war simulation and by having such a vibe (unfriendly) it seems more authentic in its simulation style. War is not friendly...

People who play BF2 tend to be jerks and start flame wars on forums. It's not unusual that they don't say GG.

gg in 42 is because:

no one cared much about thier overall rank , no stat scoring
no horrible tk system that makes you want to brutally murder your neighbor
larger gamer population apparently = much greater population of jerks and leet kiddies who don't give a crap for common courtesy.


general idea: no one 'gg' anymore because they are either too ****ed off at something, or are too immature to have comon decency.

im usually far too ****ed off at the tk system, and the retarded weapons that hurt people less than paintball guns do and spread like butter on toast, but now i play PRMM and I am making progress away from my rageful ways...

bf2 too exciting to the last minute, specially if IT IS a GG (tight Game), ppl are too busy trying to win :p, every once in a while ppl take the time to type it.

I see gg all the time on 32 player maps but n 64players maps...never.
