    creative soundcards...

I took out my audigy 2zs so i could sell it and just installed the removable sound jacks on my DFI sli dr... I dont have the studering at the startup of the game anymore!?

its crazy... the game seems to run much smoother although my cpu usage is up a little bit

That is because you don't have the latest drivers.

    Try these:

well also you dont have the quality sound anymore! means no eax, no positional audio and no 64 voices at the same time.. so a less quality means less stress for the soundcard = better performance

for me my audigy 2 zs runs AWESOME!

lol - those are the X-Fi Fatal1ty drivers, not the 2 ZS drivers. I know they can work but I don't want people confused. :p

And to the issue of your game performance increasing after removing the creative card, he is correct, it is just a driver or configuration issue that can be solved. (Hint, try to get your sound card on it's own IRC assignment with no other device sharing that address.)
