Stupid Questions from a new guy....

I bought this game when it 1st came out, but could not play It until reasently. I had to buy a whole new system.

    I have the following questions:

    1. I just got promoted to PFC when will I get my first wepon unlock?

    2. Every time I try to parachute I die...What am I doing wrong? I hit the parachute button (Zboard) but I just fall to my death.

    3. I can not fly planes or Heli's. I always crash within 5 seconds, any tips/instructions?

    4. Any other hints/tips to help a new guy out would be great!

    Thanks!!!

    1. Next rank, Lance Corporal.
    2. Press 9? Check your bindings.
    3. Start out with mouse/keyboard. No joystick. Practice in Singleplayer.
    4. Don't be a stupid tk n00b!

      1. Have to get 1,000 points to be able to get your first unlock. (Lance Corp.)

      2. Keep hitting the parachute key, it takes a while to open - yes, it is frustrating and has been like this since '42 and 'Nam.

      3. Look to other threads or guides... it isn't easy to explain. Practice makes perfect.

      4. Use cover, be patient, fire in bursts, lay prone or crouch when firing for best accuracy (especially for targets that are far away). Use the n00b tube when you are the Assault class (the grenade launcher - takes practice, but once you master it, you'll want to marry it).

When in vehicles, check your surroundings carefully, and don't forget that some vehicles - such as APCs and Tanks - can pop smoke by hitting the "X" key (since you have a ZBoard, the key placement might be different).

      Also:
-Join squads (Caps Lock key while in-game)
-Use your minimap to see which flag belongs to who; nearby artillery strikes, etc. so that you don't get caught in the middle of them; enemy placements
-Stick together and don't try to run-and-gun, else you'll find yourself sitting at the Respawn screen again and again and again......
      -Use ironsights for increased accuracy.
-When using Spec Ops, use C4 to your advantage so that you can PWN armored vehicles.
