    Shader Cache not deleting

Hey, i uninstalled bf2 and my drivers because i want a clean install of the game but It doesn't let me delete the shader folder in my documents/battlefield2/mods/cache/... it says cannot delete " " access denied

Make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not in use.

Also when i try to delete the logocache it says "cannot delete file: cannot from source file or disk"

    any help?

    Re: Shader Cache not deleting

Hold your power button for 10 seconds or until the computer shuts off. Then let it rest for 1 minute. Boot it back up and try again.

Are you still getting a disc error? If so, do you have administrative rights on your XP Account? If not you will need them.

Also check your system processes and make sure nothing that maybe using these isn't currently running.

The reason for this is because part of the file you wish to delete is open / being used somewhere on your PC..........A clue.... it may be a shortcut on desktop, find it close it, then delete the folder / file.
How were you deleting BF2 / what method?
