Knife fight question, "Helmet Head"?

today I was in a fight with this dude , and I swear it looked like he was keeping his head down because I couldnt see his face and then I noticed some of my knife blows were hitting his helmet and making a thunking sound. He was in anti-tank kit.

Is there actuall a tactical way to do this because it saved his ass at least three times.

eh idk but sometimes you dont get a 1 hit kill with the knife

Ive tested it with a friend the top of the helmet wont do damage but towards the bottom and face is 1 hit kill.

yeah the knee pads block stabs too

(just tested the helmet and stuff)

He may have been aiming down to get a better hit on you, but who knows, maybe it was for protection too.

I don't believe there is an action in the game where you can pull your head in, it would be to stupid, everybody running without a visible head

no he means like hes looking down so he just stabs the helmet, not the face

Get the machete unlock, lop off his head, problem solved.

The machete unlock only at Captain though so good luck playing BF2 for the next 2 years to get it !
