when i connect to a server and when i start to play bf2 my ping starts to raise to over 200. i hav turnd off my anti virus software and changed the setting from t1 to cable in the bf2 options! has any 1 got any other ideas i could try!

update your routers firmware, defrag your hard drive and kill your windows firewall. -

Oddly enough for me, it was caused by my video drivers version.....I had this problem a while back. I used to go from 56 to 600+.
Also make sure no one else in the household is downloading things and that any P2P and chat programs are turned off when running BF2.Comment
