    lost my account?

    Hello, 1st time posting here...have I lost my account? I was playing, took a break, disconnected from server for about an hour, came back, tried to update the server list and crashed to desktop. Now when I load game it wants me to create a new account (register with gamespy, ect.). I tried to use my old account nickname (senes) but says that name is in use! Yeah, by me!

    I have re-booted and tried to load game with same results everytime...says if I want to play mulit-player I must create an account. All firewalls are off, Norton off, all settings are the same as when game worked fine.

    I am old guy with slow reflexes and limited skills. I have worked hard at what should be, and is to most people I guess, a game. Earning my awards has been difficult. Anybody have advice?

      Not much help but did you do a search on the EA support site for any similar reported issues and a possible fix for them ?

                  Yes, instead of "create new account", try "retrieve account".

                      Thanks for the input...retrieve account worked! HOOAH! Now only about 3 months to Corporal..:)
