Skip ranks ?

I was checking the requirement for ranks on UBAR and it says :

Gunnery sergeant : 75 000
Master sergeant : 150 000 + Gunnery sergeant

then,

First sergeant : 150 000 + Basic Knife/Pistol/Medic etc.... + Gunnery sergeant

So wth ?
If I already fot all my basic badges, so that means when I'll have 150 000, I'll be Master sergeant and sec. later First sergeant ?

It will be like :
You have been promoted : Master sergeant
You have been promoted : First sergeant.

Please explain

How we should know? Its like we arent in that rank yet. Its too much man. Go ask elekrik or something.

A first sergeant is a seperate rank within the Army and Air Force that signifies a certain duty (kind of like a guidance or career counselor in the Air Force if I remember correctly). Someone can be an E-7 and be either a Master Sergeant or a First Sergeant, depending on their job. It's the same rate, thus the same pay, just a different title/job. First Sergeant takes up from E-7 to E-9.
