I think that this just got turned into another huge nerf the BlackHawk/Seahawk/BAMhawk/Dicehawk/whatever thread. I personaly believe tho that for the balance (i hate saying that) of the game, no the US transport chopper shouldnt have rockets, I think it would just become too much then.

wtf do you need rockets for? it already has what is arguably the most powerful gun in the game x2. might as well give it a couple of nukes and a snow cone machine.

Yes, it's not exactly right, but it's a Seahawk nonetheless. If Navy Gray color and the big, fat "NAVY" on its tail isn't enough, BF2.com plainly states it is an "HH-60H Seahawk."

An Abrams IRL has 4 positions - gunner, driver, commander, reloader - IIRC. So as you see, as many have said, it's not a war sim, and it's still an Abrams.

But enough of this. I know it's a Seahawk. This is like debating if the USMC in the game is from The USA.:p
        game says blackhawk.

Anyways, i wouldnt mind the blackhawk having the rockets, that were shown in pictures released from DICE. DICE showed the gaming world, (buyers) that that blackhawk was in the game, by simply showing it to be in the game.
Couple things would happen with the rockets on board.
1.) Pilot would try to get kills, thus ruining chances of the mini gun shooters getting good kills, cuz the pilot would be pointed down, and moving around in an odd fashion.
2.) Most people would jump into it and leave. That would make the blackhawk, be pretty much a one person machine, cuz lets face it, people are selfish. They'll get in, and go. (if it had rockets).

However, they do need to lower the armor on the thing.
Lower the amount of time via flag captures in flight, or remove capturing in air all together. Lets face it, YOU CANT own a flag from the air. NOt really. HOw many times have you watched a blackhawk come in. You hide 30 feet away. Wait for it to leave, then recap the flag, with Zero Opposition, 20 seconds later. It doesnt make sense. It comes, caps, leaves. You recap. What happened? Nothing. Should it have to land to cap, you might be presuded to take shots at it, and maybe even OWN it, and its occupants, while its on the ground.
And last but not least, it makes zero sense to be able to "FIX" it while its flying. That really is stupid. It should have to fly off to the helo pad for repair, or land somewheres, while the engineer GETS OUT, then repairs it. Its only logical, and game balancing at the same time.
A good crew in a blackhawk, really can own a map. Granted it takes some teamwork and what not, but its completely not a balanced deal. The mec transport is so far off from comparison, that, well, it cant be compared.
Other then that, I actually enjoy seeing a fully loaded blackhawk. It helps my score out.
Havent you ever seen a tank cap your flag saying its too dangerous, then when it leaves 10 seconds later you take it back over. IMO the game is fine how it is, If I'm on USMC, i try and get in the Bh, and BH whore, If im on the opposite team, my Bh Hunting squads kicks into action. A little effort goes a long way.

            Amen to that.

As far as you said glass eye. I agree with that. Can't go overboard with weapons. The game is balanced. People are exploiting one thing of the game right now. When someone else figures out a new thing people will exploit the crap out of that too and no one will remember the "Blackhawk" Seahawk issue.

Just have fun and shoot at the damn helo when you see it. Not run away. What are you saving your ammo for...?????
