If BH couldn't repair in flight, would you mind them having rockets?
Re: If BH couldn't repair in flight, would you mind them having rockets?
Its really not quite either... It's supposed to be a seahawk, but if its a seahawk, its painted wrong, and the tail landing wheel needs to be coming out from the middle of the tail shaft, not the very end near the tail rotor. DICE just imagined up a helicopter, and BAM it came forth into existence.
Yes, it's not exactly right, but it's a Seahawk nonetheless. If Navy Gray color and the big, fat "NAVY" on its tail isn't enough, BF2.com plainly states it is an "HH-60H Seahawk."
An Abrams IRL has 4 positions - gunner, driver, commander, reloader - IIRC. So as you see, as many have said, it's not a war sim, and it's still an Abrams.
But enough of this. I know it's a Seahawk. This is like debating if the USMC in the game is from The USA.:p
Re: If BH couldn't repair in flight, would you mind them having rockets?
I would not change anything about the bh, actually even when it has plenty armour or can be repaired while flying or even the cap flag time (changing this one would be fine anyway) its very vulnerable. Most ppl who whine about its overpowered are the typical guys I see from the gunner side in the middle of the square un Mashur City trying to hurt us with an M16 or sth like that. I have to say that i play a lot in that map as MEC and lets say that the tactic that most ppl use against the Bh is just "not Ok". Man, if u see that flying cow dont go straight it trying to destroy it whith your **** weapons. U should hide and if u die choose a proper weapon. What i do most in this map is picking up the M203 and use its tube (i never use that weapon except in that map and just against the BH) so i hide and when i see it hovering to cap a flag i shoot the tube. If've been lucky, i've broken the piñata and gotten from 1 to 6 kills and if I have not, then im dead. Another tactic is to find a friend and each one pick a Vodnik, i tell u that u and ur friend can be the worst nightmare of the bh whores.
Well, thats all, i just wanted to give my opinion about that and there are big solutions for big problems.
Re: If BH couldn't repair in flight, would you mind them having rockets?
Well, in real life a SH can hold 16 hellfire missiles, so that would rock if they hadem. But again for the purposes of balance, i don't think it should be implemented, the two ways transport choppers can be nerfed, no repairs in chopper, and/or no capping flags while in chopper.

HEHE
BAM Helicopter. I guess when you are designing games you are god.
And dice said let there be tanks and BAM there was the Seahawk
Re: If BH couldn't repair in flight, would you mind them having rockets?
I think if they take out capping that will solve a lot of problems. However I do feel they should get points for a captured flag they are near (such as the pilot).
It would add more to the pilot too as he would have to drop infantry off to take the flag and pick them back up when its taken.
I also think if the tank class could have a choice of a anti-aircraft missle it would stop a whole lot of the capping :-)

I bet they ran into licensing issues if they made it exactly like a seahawk or a blackhawk.
Re: If BH couldn't repair in flight, would you mind them having rockets?
Not liscencing issues, the cobra is perfect.
It says Blackhawk when you kill people. For the vast majority of the playing public who don't routinely whore helicoptor websites in hope for a new video to *edit* , using the exact same term the game uses is hardly a crime.
Re: If BH couldn't repair in flight, would you mind them having rockets?
lol, rockets for the bh too? lmao!! ok it can have rockets but the armor needs to be halved at least, the miniguns removed, can't repair, and can't cap with it. then you can have your precious rockets. wtf are you people thinking...
Re: If BH couldn't repair in flight, would you mind them having rockets?
The point of a transport helicopter is to transport soldiers. Giving the pilot any form of weapondry that he can solely operate would mean a lot more people taking off without any passagengers.
