Edit: And who are you to say how people admin their servers? There are a million servers out there who could give a damn if you say WTF or gay or whatever your little heart desires.

Look, unless it's some sort of racial epithet, you shouldn't be kicked for saying it. Server admins that take their pompous morality to the banned words list are just pathetic. This is a game where the goal is to fire bullets and stick knives into the enemy's head. There will be times when the flaws in the game rear their ugly heads and we get frustrated. If we decide to drop a WTF or even if we feel like writing it out, I don't see the issue. Now go ahead and say that little kids may be playing this game. So little Johnny can talk all sorts of smack and shoot people but he can't read foul language?!?! Please....get real... Sure the admins have the right to ban certain words, but that doesn't make them any less of a b1tch when they do...

Heh, I'm not on a moral high horse, trust me. I drink Budweiser and curse like a sailor when I'm feeling so inclined.

I just don't like my server used as a forum by some 14 year old to spam "****" as many times as he can. In most cases, the words I ban from my servers are words used in personal insults. I'd rather have people on the server I PAY FOR sort out their differences on the battlefield, not with their foul mouths. Its just an attempt to improve the quality of the gameplay experience, and when you weed out the smacktards who insist on name calling, you end up with a much better quality of people on the server.

Of course, there will always be people like yourself and Deez who can't seem to figure out that only a minority of servers enforce rules like this, and no one is forcing you to play there.

Like EA said, the unranked servers that are privately owned and run are the "wildcats" you play on them at your own choice, if they do something you don;t like you will have to contact them or their sponsors.
I can't see what good can come from airing dirty laundry here other than to fuel flames.
