Finally got my mic working!

can anyone shed any light on this...:

how do we know who has a working mic on each game...?

it is a pain having to keep joining a squad until you find someone he speaks back, knowing there mic works...

how does everyone else do it?

theres a little microphone icon in the squad screen next to each persons name. if someone doesnt have a mic it will have a red X on it (at least i think so).

this doesnt mean people will be using them the whole time

havent noticed any red cross before and always look at the squad screen.

maybe theres no indication so youll just have to find a squad with people talking in it or make a squad called VOIP and people who want to talk will join

Just ask and wait for a reply, that's the easiest way.

I just ask my team if anyone is useing VOIP if they reply i join there squad if not i dont use my mic.:)

dont you find that its hard to work well as a team without VOIP?

i find it difficult to work as a proper squad without VOIP...

Join a clan, then use teamspeak to communicate.

Some clan servers actualy list in thier server message that ur welcome to join them on thier Voice comms server.

Also by disabling in game VOIP it increases your FPS. This is useful for those people not on a high end rig.

Yea but if i dont find anyone with a mic i still follow orders its just not as good without a mic.
