Buying Used BF2 - Reg. Isuues.

Thanks for looking. I want to buy a second hand copy of BF2 to put on one of my other pc's on the network for friends to play on. I was wondering whether there are any problems with using a copy that someone else has previouosly used online? I'm thinking about the PID being inextricably linked to a machine or email or other of that nature? Any help would be most appreciated.

There will be no problem in installing it elsewhere but the issue is if the seller keeps note of the CD-KEY allowing him to use it in the future.
The day may come where you log in to find that your cd-key is already in use.

If you have CD key issues, you will need to be issued another one.

For that, you will need the original packing, discs, AND receipt. Photograph them all, showing the CD key, and send them to EA and I'm assuming for some nominal fee.

If you do not have all of these things..you should be a little worried.

If you can play regularly without getting the 'CD key already in use' error...then don't worry about it.
