Problem with a new nation is, all three existing nations now already have pretty much the same equipment. They're not really distinguishing the sides much, barring a few exceptions like the BH. So really a new nation would be about the maps rather than anything else. If they add new types of equipment they'll be giving it to everyone (like with the Spec Forces expansion).

I voted Indian because I don't know of any mods doing Indian army stuff...

british makes the most sense... canadians particapate in the current efforts a lot but are basically copies of our army... there c watever guns are just m16 variations and such

british do a lot of good and have a lot of effective equipment with a style more to its own...

id say i liked the brits but someone would get cocky and make me regret it...

okay here are the things that are or i want to be added in the next one or two expansions. In the first expansion i know the Birtish SAS(Special Air Service. Parratropers) is going to be added and i really don't care about the rest of the armys(just some usless rebels). And there going to foces on infenty. So its most likely going to be all urben maps. what i want from the second expansion is more trainne orented map. I pray that they are going to add unlock like a pistol unlock, a sniper that can kill instantly if it hits the body or head, and a gasmask to counter the added tear gas. i hope in the seconed expansion they'll add maps the have complex tarrain like loose sand to slow or stop a tank. Like a map in plains/forest with heavy snow which would make vehicals very vonerable which i would enjoy. Or a desert map with dunes so like vehicals like armor would have a really tough time moving and i would like this map the most. Finally a moutainus map all being infentry orented. Army wise it would be strange to see japan because as far as i know there ostly neutral like canada. Canada would be that same a japan. I would want ether a european nation or russia to be added.

Well i'm sure most of us have no doubt at all that EA/Dice will release a second expansion for BF2.

On the bottom right hand side of their page is a poll asking what new force you would like to see in BF2.

It would be a smart move for them to add an entire new team to the game in an expansion, as more people are likely to buy it, its far better than "the US now has 2 new tanks, the MEC has a new helicopted, and China has a new gun", it wouldn't be a mix of junk if you know what i mean.

Right now Japan is winning by a large margin which boggles my mind seeing how

A) Their "army" is a mere defense force
B) They're very much alike to china
C) They're also base in the far east... like China

The only two options that make sense to me are India and Euro (voted Euro). India is like the MEC except with totally different weapons/vehicles. And Europe is absolutely original and i'm sure they can make a great showing from that force (French Leclerc tank or British Challenger?). Russia would be pointless to have in the game because the MEC/China all use modified Russian weapons anyway. Also BF2 would cover a much larger part of the world....

West - USMC
Center - Europe
East - MEC
Far East - China

What did you vote for? What are your thoughts about a second expansion?

Euro or Russia troops would make the most sense....but who cares about making sense anyways....check out this idea............

All I want to see is U.S maps in the next expansion...you know like LA or NY or Chicago maps..I don't think it's fair for the Chinnese or MEC's forces to defend their homeland on every map...I know it's not realistic, but the ideas for those maps would be endless. I could see a good battle unfold in the streets of NY{Queens} or the streets of South Central or Hollywood, CAL or what about Disney World in FL.:laugh: They could set the game 10 years later... after the MEC and China force drove the U.S. force back to their homeland and the only forces the U.S. has are civilans{militia's} defending major cities or Rural areas from capture. Like Red Dawn...it would sale..
