should there not be parachute insertion map, maybe by C130 that could take maybe 2+ squads, say 1 uncappable home flag each heaps far apart 3 x C130's (or mec, chine equivalent) each side with 3-6 capable flags in the middle, you could drop six squads at once thatd look awsome, mass troop landing !

That would be pretty BadArse, like in BF1942 on Makret Garden. Have the spawn point be constantly circling the map. Kinda like the mobil spawn point on th C130 in Desert Combat.

It would only be cool if you were able to fly the plane and it was an actual vehicle in the game, and if you could walk in the back. Oh wait, but with the extremly realistic BF2 physics you would die as soon as the plane went past 1km/hr :).

An easy way would be to have all the usa/or mec/or chinese guys falling out of the sky instead of at spawn points!

I hitch rides on F15s all the time and bail at high altitudes to HAHO in. I do wish there was a map with a computer controled C130 that circled off the coast of a large Island. Just high enough and far enough away that nothing useful could be fired from or at it, but allowing players to time their jumps so they could choose an insertion angle from the full 360 degrees around the objective.

that will prevent the home base camper/spawn kill problem too its fun and safe it should be in the expansion pack

they had a map like that in PoE before i hope they do it again because it's fun
plus in BF2 you can guide yourself all the way across the map before you pull the chute which makes for very effective HALO jumps

It would be good if you could wait in the plan and jump out when you are ready, like if your squad has been killed, wait for all to spawn and all jump out at the same time.

if this mission type thing is ever going to be added, it would be in the special forces expansion, that sounds like that type of thing. or someone will make a mod or map or even a game type.

A map like that would just RULE!!!! One of the first good, Feasible ideas ever on this server lol hope it happens but its seems like every good idea ever posted on these forums just ends up dying. Wait you could write to EA and get a response in....................... well......... put it this way you will have a free bus pass by then. OAP lol.

HALO jumps absolutely rock.

Secret Weapons of WW2 on 1942, the mobile plane spawn point rocked.

Anyone played America's Army - FLS Assault level. Thats the best level ever, i never ever played any other level because that one was so great, parachuting from a plane and attacking a bunker, its challenging but so rewarding if you manage to win.
