Basic Helicopter Badge question

as the worst helo pilot in the world, how can I get this badge.....does the helo have to go in the air (:-), or can I just be a passenger?

help the new guy out?

i got mine by being a passenger of a blackhawk.

and while your waiting to recieve the badge while in the air, you can always be an engineer and repair the heli while its fighting (at the same time working on your basic engeer badge) or just be a gunner, and get some kills.

Nope, hell you can just sit in a helo, without even taking off for 15 minutes and get the badge. Which would be pretty lame but hey, that's what I did with my Air Defense Badge

I almost got the air defense ribbon doing that, killed 10 people.

I got mine by hovering in an unused part of the map, pretty cheap but I don't care, and the rest of the team where to busy pitching tents on the airfield to notice anyway.
