    New to the game

Im looking for a place to play that has all the realism of a true battle field. All I seem to be getting is a bunch of guys running around killing each other. Where can I go to find real serious players???

If you want true battlefield realism this game isn't quite for you...its more an arcade shoot em up right now...just wait for the Forgotten Hope 2 mod to come around and i might be a bit more realistic for you

Try America's Army, i've never played it but i believe it is a lot more realistic than this. as the guy above said this is more orientated towards fun than realism.

If you want realism, you shouldn't have gotten BF2. If you want realism then go get Call of Duty, or wait for Call of Duty 2 to come out on PC in October. I know I am!

cant wait  But ill probably mix it up between both games when it does, something nice about voip on here that makes the game seem like im playing with people rather than botties

Join the Army. It just like FPS just with better graphics.

Yeah, but instead of running around shooting things you spend most of your time doing incredibly menial duties in an ass-backwards fashion.

A typical day for me on a reserve weekend:
                  0700: Report to base.
0710: Get daily orders from SSgt. Dimwit.
                  0715: Begin work.
0830: Sgt. Jackass tells me that I'm doing it wrong. I tell him that SSgt. Dimwit told me to do it that way. He tells me to change it anyways.
1000: Previous work fully changed, continuing new work.
1100: SSgt. Dimwit comes by and inspects progress. He becomes upset that I had not followed his orders to the letter, forces me to go back and do things as originally planned.
                  1200: Lunch.
                  1230: Back to work.
                  1330: Changes complete.
1400: SSgt. Dimwit confirms that all is going well.
1415: Sgt. Jackass inspects work and becomes upset that I had done things against his instruction. He tells me to change things back while he confers with SSgt. Dimwit.
1600: Whilst changing hours of work, the two NCO's come by and inform me that neither way is correct and that I should edit the work in a totally new fashion.
1700: Day nearly done. Work is just about finished for the day.
1730: Report daily progress to SSgt. Dimwit. He becomes curious about the nature of the progress. After a brief discussion he tells me that tomorrow I should start the project over.

That's how I became an army of one.

Tell me about it. I spent 5 years in the Marine Corps. (4 year contract was extended when the Iraq war started) And while my Artillery experience doesn't give me many job options, I could probably clean a bathroom better than anyone this side of the Mississippi:laugh: But I did make Sgt and learned how to dictate orders rather proficiently.
