How do i use Battle recorder?

I go to community, then when i try and download it never works. Somthing like failed to connect to server...

any help? i havn't enabled anything... do you have to?

Best to go into the "tips" forum before asking any questions, almost everything is answered in there but has so many less visitors then the general forum

That forum thread isn't clear enough, I don't know anything about that BF recorder and the thread in the forum doesn't help me because I don't know where the BFrecorder is, I see it nowhere in the game, is it a program next ro BF2 ? do you have to download your recording from the server you play on? I realy realy don't know anything about it

when i try to view my recorded matches it loads fully and then the game quits to the desktop....why?

That doesn't help at all with OP's problem.

The problem is most servers that say they have Battlefield Recorder enabled still don't have their servers set up so you can actually download the recording. Servers that do this properly are few and far between; I had to ask on these forums to get one that actually worked. Try this server:

217.27.212.149:16567 f2K|City maps|All weapons

That definitely worked for me, for version 1.02. I also read that chclan.com might work. Be sure to download the recording soon after playing, since the servers probably only keep a limited number of recordings.

I dont really have a problem with it, I just go in Community and see the file and highlight and click download and watch the video. Maybe the server you guys get it from might have to do with the server you get it from.

thanks wreck, i've heard the same thing but after going into countless servers and the thing never working... i just had to ask. I will try that server tommorow.
