Virus?

Whats going on? I had a virus, or a trojan, or worn, or something.
It used to kick me outta the game because it said O/S privalages blocked but now it says this:

"Found a possible process patcher or code injector"

"While executing the program a² detected a possible malicious behavior. Patching processes or injecting code is a technique many backdoors and rootkits use to hide from anti-malware software but is sometimes used by anti-malware software itself. If you don't know that program its recommended to terminate it and to send it in for further analysis".

Then it askes me to delete, allow, or terminate. Now its doing that when I try to get on the internet.... Is it the virus? WTF is going on?

Chances are you have a virus/spyware that took away your admin privalages which will is required for PB.

Don't you have a virus scanner? If so get one. I reccomend AVG.

3rd party DL'ing is not recomended get the patch from EA!

Maybe a spyware got you. Use Ad-Aware SE 6.0 (its free) and Spybot Search and Destroy (free too) to locate and delete. I recomend also a poweful antivirus called Avast, (free also for Home-Users, requires a sign though). After you delete spyware or virus try to play. If not then reinstall BF2. If that does not work also, maybe you should format your pc.

Sounds frustrating. Like they said, Get Anti-Virus and Internet Firewall (Reccommend Norton). And the free spyware/adware. I got S&D (Search & Destroy) It's VERY GOOD.
