    this mobo good enough?

hey you guys, im thinking of getting a new comp, but right now im low on cash, but i realy need somethig new, this comp is getting old already over 2yrs and i push it to its limit

would this mobo be good enough for a 3200+ Venice, and a 7800gt, 2gb mem

it only has one pci-e, and i dont plan on getting dual 7800, ever

i dont know much about mobos but that should be good

a 3200 will bottleneck that card so i would suggest go for a better processor

thats if you dont plan to oc that cpu ive heard that they can be clocked to 2.6ghz should be good if your thinking of doin that

          Read about that board here:

Its a good board from what Ive heard... I dont think it supports 4x400 mhz ram though. So if your thinking of going 512mb x 4 ram dont, go with 2x1 gig @ 400mhz

Id go with it though. Very few motherboards with 939 socket support 4 sticks of ram @ 400mhz

yes it will be good if you overclock it

if you can find one for $40 then yes go for it

well i wasnt going over 2gigs, since im not getting the 7800gt yet, i have to stick with my 5500, i was thinking of getting the 7800gt and another gig of ram later, so what ill be getting now is just, 1gig of ram 3200+ and that mobo

Personally, I would spend the extra for the ASUS board. It is more compatible and reliable than the Chaintech brand.

Well, a 3200+ will at most be a 5 fps difference with a 7800GT than with using a FX-57. CPU's on't bottleneck too much unless it's under 2.0ghz for P4, or under 2000+ from AMD.
