I was just wondering wether EA would consider revamping the likes of BF1942 and BF Vietnam with the BF2 engine or would they rely on the Modding community to accomodate the fans.

EA DICE won't do that, this is totaly for the mod comunity.

If BF2 was made by valve, then there would be a BF1942 with the BF2 engine, but now it's made by dice, they don't do things like that

i agree. I often wonder if they will even leave the patching to the MOD community :p

Well there was the official WW2 mod for BFV that incorporated some maps, vehicles, and kits from BF1942 so I wouldn't say it's an impossibility. Though, it's more likely the mods will do it first.

NO i dont. However I would assume some modders will. Personally im looking for bigger and better mods for this one rather than simple recreations of old maps.
