Helicopter Service Ribbon

Does anybody have a recommended map to get the Heli. Service on? I've tried tons of times but I can never get 19 kills. Also, do the kills from the gunner position also count?

I love flying the helicopter on Gulf of Oman. Since it's such a huge map, there's always people taking APC's, buggys, etc.. Good chance to get some kills.

If you want, I can fly you around and let you rank up some kills on the gunner. :)

Mashtuur City in the Black Hawk. Gunner seat kills count but the trick is the 'time in game' requirement.

Does sitting in the pilot seat of a transport chopper and getting arty kills also count? This is also a bastard of a ribbon I have been trying to get.

no ive tried that, i did get my new killing streak at 30 with that

gulf of oman is ok, but to much AA

best is the wetland map, if you race the middle post and capture it, the closet ive gotten was 15kill, 12 in Oman, an d 11 in Dragon Valley

as a gunner in sharqi you easely get your heli ribbon.

Thats the thing for me, this is the only 'easy' ribbon I need to join with my others, but with many servers there is never a good pilot or there is noobs who steal them and crash them, i'd be happy to be your gunner, if you want to arrage a sesion in time, i'd be pleased. cheers, kev.

Go to a server called "unted sodiers <}US{> RANKED" (just type in "united" in the search). 300 tickets, 64 plr maps, and 20 man server very easy to get any award.

I good chopper map is either Dalian Plant, or Daqing Oil Fields.

I just got mine yesterday at Sharki Peninsula. I was MEC and their choppers guns kicks ass. I had a good pilot and i told him i needed my helo ribbon. He hovered over some crowded spawn points at the beginning and i had 18 kills in about 4 mins. Then all you have to do is spend time in the chopper, driving or shooting. I have a timer i set for 18 mins so i knew when i would be getting it.

I got mine with a great pilot, lucky to be honest to find him, as I can fly quite well but no way as good as him, racked up loads of points and gunning improved so much, the ribbon just appeared during the fun.

I got it as a gunner in a cobra on Kubra Dam.
It's much easier to stay alive when there aren't a lot of stingers on the map. Kubra dam has the odd AA vehicle, but they can be avoided by flying low or going over the dam. It's probably not too hard to get the ribbon as a gunner in the MEC copter on Sharqi. You can get plenty of infantry kills if your pilot hovers near enemy spawns. There are some annoying stingers on this map though.

Yea, I got mine on Kubra Dam too. Wasn´t even trying for it, but after flying around as pilot and gunner the full map I suddenly got it. Kubra Dam is good for heli´s imo.
