When it debuted it was selling for around $1179.00. But now you can get it brand new for around $899.00. Shouldn't take too long to save up for.

But if I had my way I would have two 7800gtx's to run a 30 inch apple cinema display! .........if I had my way. :cry:

You can play BF2 in wide screen, however it does not have a proper FOV it chops off the top and bottem of the screen.

What do you mean it chops off the bottom of the screen? Hey people...is it possible hes not running it at the right resolution? Someone please give me hope!

BF2 does not support widescreen at all! wtf are u guys talking about ?
I have a hpf2304 23" LCD and I can asure you that BF2 does not support it. The thing is, it wont look bad but widescreen should show u more of the feld (FOV) and BF2 does not support that. BF:V and BF1942 did support it but some idiots at dice tough that time went backwards and did not include it. Damn monkeys did not even give the most used resolution in world. If the new 1.03 patch does not support it I will freakin start a petention or sumthin'...

BF2 doesnt support it officially. It can be done, but the game will look wierd in a way. Only 1280x1024 can get away with it caues its not that big of a diff. The only difference is that you still got the HUD, but the field of view is more wider, at the cost of height.

I was thinking of picking up a Dell 2005FP-somethign, but after reading around...wah =/ patch 1.03 better add something.

I play on my 24 widescreen , 57 widescreen, and 21 inch!

Only the 57 inch has the problem of the bottom be cut off!

It also shows how you gain ZERO view to either side you are actually at a disadvantage playing it this way until Dice gets off their asses and fix the FOV.
