Well there is no story so anything is possible. Even if US attacked first they still could be in turn invaded while there amy is off to play.

I don't think it would make the Chinese look bad. At this point you would think of it as a counter attack. So far in BF2 it looks like the US are the aggressors in all maps.

Yeh plus if they invaded I think our troops would pulled home, fight them back to where they came from and the invading country would become a radioactive wasteland in about 10min.

I think you just answered your own question. But seriously, it must have to do with something about trying to be politically correct, look at how they changed the way the MEC forces looked (no more towel wrapped around their heads)

I'm not against the idea, but you just know someone sat around a boardroom table and said "Hey, how about some US invasion maps!?" and then a lawyer said something like "recent polls show that 75% of Americans are still sensitive over 9/11, we don’t want people boycotting our game"
