I have had people tell me this, but I dont see anything
official? Will this exploit be done away with ?

I hope so, its ruining this game.. just like BFV..

In EA's official announcement about the 1.03 patch, they noted that the way in which transport helos cap flags will be changed - they haven't said how. As for it being an exploit, it is not - it is a feature. This is like saying one-shot one-kill with a sniper rifle is an exploit.

i think its debatable about whether its an exploit or not. your example of the sniper doesn't even come close. you expect a sniper to be able to kill in 1 shot. you don't expect a helo to be able to cap a flag.

i think the shooting exploit also needs to be dealt with. People keep shooting each other to get points. They're really ruining the game, bloody stat farmers...

Only rumours at the moment. Won't know much until they release a full change log unfortunately.

tell me they intended for choppers to circle around the flag pole
like they did in BFV.... dont think so..

they said nothing about caping flags, it probably have something to do with it, but now body knows for shore.

tank like armor reduced, or upgrade the weapons to take it out, or have the gunners get out of the plane to cap so the pilot has to get near the ground before he leaves!

one of these three would be nice!

I hope they can still cap flags, I hope they remain as close to their current state as possible. Since when was the last time you saw a real battlefield littered with flag poles and THAT was the goal?

"OK men, today, we plan on raising 5 flags, up from our maximum of 3 yesterday. I'm handing each of you 3 flags so there are plenty of extras and so they don't get lost."

The flags represent control of an area, hence the name control point. If your flag is flown there in game, you control the area. If a Blackhawk comes in and kills you, it pretty much controls the area, it's that simple. If you kill it, you keep control of the area. What's next, tanks can't lower flags because they are armored? DPVs are too fast and beat you to a flag so they shouldn't be able to? Honestly, it's a feature people...fight it in game, not with whining.
