I will spawn 5 times just to get 2 solid shots with my AT kit on a spawn camping tank. It doesnt really enrage me, its just a dissappointment, because with a little refining this could be an even better game.

I like that idea after hearing this from Blizzard, i think ejecting from the chopper to cap a flag is much better...in terms of being a lemming, I'm right there with you, I'll revive any soldier I can even if I'm completely surrounded...the fact that I get 2 kills and 15 deaths in a game doesn't bother me as long as I've helped the team accomplish our goal of winning...

if they don't change that then C4 the top and bottom of the flag, as soon as you see it turn white on your map blow the sucker up...

Re: A possible soloution to Heli capping flags

Making the BH land on the ground would solve the problem...all the flags on maps are effectively near buidlings/walls/cranes/pylons. So the BH pilot wouldnt be able to just park right next to the flag without half damaging the helo, or flipping it over.
That way all the passengers will have to get out, which is more realistic and will require better teamwork.

I guess I just don't see the problem with a BH capping a flag...one well placed grenade or rocket round and you've got a temporarily empty blackhawk...lol

To put simply. In order to cap a flag, one would need to run up and hit the USE key on the flagpole. Multiple people "using" the flag pole the faster it is capped. Sorry if this is impossible or to you a stupid idea. But if it is possible maybe a modder could use the idea. Just my 2 cents.

lol that would suck not being able to shoot while doing that

The whole problem with blackhawks capping the flags isn't with their ability to necessarily cap them...its their ability to jump rapidly from flag to flag far faster then the ground forces can keep up with.

And yes you can shoot down blackhawks, but its pretty damn hard to do if they've got a full complement of engineers constantly repairing them. Two AT guys can't damage a 4 engineer blackhawk fast enough to destroy it with 4 engineers at work. (Unless they use the wheel exploit).

Ya you can shoot the cabin, yadda yadda...but those shots only occur at certain angles...when the damn thing is flag hopping, your lucky if you even get a belly shot at it before it flys off to the next cap.

I'd say the only thing they'd need to do to fix the transport helicopters is prevent mid-air repairing.

The whole problem with blackhawks capping the flags is the fact that it's a seahawk.
