Actualy seeing some screens of some vid cards that aren't realy strong, I think BF2 still looks good, just some screens badly need some AA, but still, it doesn't look bad.

Screenshot with my FX5200 128mb , believe it or not I can run the game very smoothly.

Settings :
Terrain : MED / Effects : MED / Dynamic light : MED / Geometry : MED / All the rest on LOW.

i have a 5500 256mb

i cant have terrain on med either ill get major game lag, even if i put everything on low, and only that med, still major lag, whats your specs?

Danny what is your processor, or do you have the 128mb version of the 6800, if so thats also why you can only run on medium but of course no ones that stupid to buy the 128 mb version of the 6800

I bought it because that was all I could afford at the time, I plan on getting a AMD 64 3500 by the end of this year and a new 256MB 7800 GTX. BTW, right now I have a P4 2.4 GHZ cpu.

evga 6800 overclocked...pipes and shaders unlocked...all med settings 4xaa...all sorts of tweaks done thru riva tuners direct x and open GL settings.....could be a lot better. i only have 768 megs of ram

You have to count them manually...it's a little difficult at first...but with practice you can do it...the hard part is measuring the delay between frames...I usually use an egg timer....

use fraps to see fps......it's better and larger than typing renderer.drawfps 1 in the console
