Commander Kills

I was playing as commander today and by the end of the round I had about 30 kills (mix of artillery and normal combat); however my overall score was less than that (about 20-25ish). I dont understand why that is.. I know I didnt have many teamwork points because I had been sitting about, but why should my score be LESS than what I had through kills.
And it was NOT teamkill punishes, coz I didnt tk any1.
Do you not get rewarded as much for commander kills>?

I believe your commander score is an average of everyones score on your team, I know for a fact that it is not your kills, so thats why.

You dont get points for killing people while commanding, same for capping flags (i think) and so on. Why? Probably to discourage commanders to run about not commanding and kill 30+ people on top of the average score on the team and the go to win for a x2 bonus. Im happy with it, although it would be nice for points for killing with the actual gun.

Your points come from your team, if your team gets lots of points, so do you, if they dont, you dont. If you win, thats a x2 bonus for you.

when they display the commander score at the bottom of the screen at the end, it says 2x (if you win). Is the score you see multiplied by 2 or has that already been done.

its just the average score of your team but next time use the search feature before you make a topic
