As command you MUST sit somewhere hidden and pay all your attention to battlefield. First scan, then UAV. With scanning you can find biggest forces and then UAV them.
Remmember, arty is going to strike 13 seconds after you place it. Zoom to 3d mode for precise arty. Don't just point in map. If you see your side forces rushing in, don't place it as you will result in TK. Stupid noobs don't look at radar and always punish you.
If you see smoking friendly tank, send support to him.
Learn about your teams. Remmember them. Big team is not always clever team.
Send big and stupid teams to suicidal missions.
Send armored teams to fight armour.
Send clever teams to take critical flags (eg. flag where attack chopper spawns or tank). Don't send them to flag where is no point of fighting.
Send clever individuals (team with 1 member) to capture easy flags.
Be creative.
If only squad leaders would be so smart and request commands, it would be ideal.
