Maya / 3D-Max Tools??

Hey guys,

Just doing the tutorials for the BF2 ediotor and it mentions Maya and 3D-Max tools that shipped with the editor . I would like to try out making my own buildings, etc but i cant find the programs. Do I have to buy a program or is it included in the bf2 ediotor package? I would appericate it if someone could point me in the right direction.
