Does it always happen, Like in the middle of games even. I mean it happens basically instantly after you finish a game, but what if you quit in the middle of a game. Does it still record?

If you do good or get a medal/ribbon/badge during the round and you get disconnected or quit for whatever reason it will not record your stuff.
If you do bad and you get disconnected or quit it will record your stats right away.
