Actually, the Barrett does ignore body armor. It just doesnt do quite enough damage to kill in one shot (95).

It shoulnt blow a man in two, however, it should be a 1 shot kill to a body or the head.

as for the .50 cal sniper rifle, there's a reason it doesn't kill in one shot. Game balance and variety. Every Tom, **** and Harry would be playing as a sniper if they could easily kill in one shot. Boooring.

I just don't understand you snipers' mentality. It's perfectly reasonable to you that I can fill my oppenent full of lead with my assault rifle from 10 m away having him only limp away afterwards--somehow THAT'S believable and realistic--but heaven forbid your precious sniper rifle won't fatally wound a person in a single shot from 200 m away. :p

This isn't really a flame (I know it sounds like it), but rather just an observation that snipers tend to have the need to feel godlike on the battlefield; otherwise, they feel cheated and demand a "fix." :)

Its a matter of ballance if u have a Sniper that can ripe a person in 2 with 1 shot then the majority of people would go a sniper because of the kills but i was thinking that if it could go through bullet proof glass and kill a person one shot it should lower the power of the shot by it going through bullet proof glass.:)

Its a video of a sniper taking out another sniper in Iraq. It shoots the un-identifible body 20 ft in the air. Looks like raw hamburger still on the bone. Really nasty stuff. >__>
