okie dokie

im chasing down an f35 in my chinese j10 on dalian plant...my not incredibly skillfull use of all my missiles, coupled with his decent flying, a flare or 2, and some afterburning turns, im outta flares, cannons left, 300 rounds, chase him down, run out of cannon rounds, hes got black smoke, now, cant kill him other than flyin right over him, droppin bomb in him(i accidently kami'ed doing this, for which i was banned)


okay, point is, that wouldnt have happened if ALL chinese/MEC jets had more than 300 cannon rounds, while the US jets, f18, f35 have 600 rounds of cannon ammo(the f15 has 300)

whys US get extra 300 rounds, and a VTOL jet? works wonders with avoiding those TKing whore pricks that sit in front of ya

and dont say unrealistic, cause f35 wont be deployed till 2008, and if there can Be a MEC by 2008, the russians will have made an SVTOL jet to sell them

hyper maneuverability, su37 anyone? i know, its pointless in dogfights, but strafing/bomb runs would be easier if you missed targets

Ok anyway, the J10 is by far the best jet in the game hands down, there are those that will disagree and to them I say "you are kidding yourselves" By placing a poor pilot in a J10 you have upped him to a good pilot, put a avg pilot in a J10 and you get a very good pilot and put a good pilot in a J10 you get an Ace.

What makes the J10 so good? Easy the turn radius mixed with the speed it has (damn thing shakes it goes so fast)

I know Ill get people telling me "learn to fly against it" Yeah ok. I have outpreformed a J10 pilot and shot him down but its VERY rare, I am lucky to stalemate him and if you are in a bomber...forget it. (Yes a bomber SHOULD be shoot down by a fighter I know) Now I have been in the J10 and I ended up jumping out of the thing because I was killing everything (heli's and jets/bombers) way to easily, it felt a tad boring. Dont even get me started on how the missles cant hit the damn plane, guy would get a lock on me and fire, I would just turn like normal and the missle would shoot on by (watched it in rear view AND in the recorder.) I did nothing to dodge but turn.

err, coz they use 300 rnds on friendly fire so they need the extra ammo :p

Su 47 has hyper maneuberability I think, or maybe its both, you never really know :P the russians are too secretive

J-10 are superior I believe. You should just have flew over to your base and rearmed lol.

The J10 is a fighter not a bomber i think that the USA F15 should have 300 rounds in the cannon because its a bomber all fighters should have 600 rounds in the cannon.:)

If you could not shoot down a f-35b VTOL fighter with a J10 then don't blame the "lack of not having and extra 300 rounds." J10 owns everything in the air. It has the best maneuverabilty and speed of all the fighters hands down.

EA is so unfair. Why do they includes J-10 and not F-22 for the US?

I love the jet jockey chat and all but I have to break from topic for a second here. This is about the billionth time that I've seen lose spelled with a second O. That word isn't lose as in not to win, it's loose as in your sister. C'mon folks, take 15 minutes from playing games to learn the language that you supposedly speak! As far as jet combat goes, we all know that it's too easy to avoid being hit by a missile. The missile lock in this game is just ridiculous. It isn't a lock at all. It's a nice little box and a sound that makes your missile no more likely to hit your enemy. These are the same mindless heatseekers from BFV. The J10 is damn near impossible to hit if you're flying against a pilot with enough of a clue to avoid flying in a straight line. But then again, so is the F-35.

J-10 is the best, but I'll take the TK-avoiding VTOL any day. If EA had any brains, they'd replace the F-18 with a F-22, and the F-22 > J-10
