G3 and the sniper rifles

Ok first i start on the g3, why did they put the g3 in for replacement of the m16+203, like i know it is all around a better weapon, but why not somthing new like, more frags or some type of thing that goes boom.

NOw to sniper rifles, i dont have the unlocked one yet but if had to pick from wither 3 factions i would pick american, i dont like the idea of having 6 shots without relaoding, i dont know why thoe.
I do with we had the m14 as the american rifle, well i know after a year or so there is going to be loads of weapons to pick from so all i got to do is wait.

You don't get any extra frags or bonuses with the G3 simply because it would make the balance go off. The G3 is a more high powered and more accurate gun than the M16. But, you have to sacrifice a mounted grenade launcher. It all goes down to balance here.

As for the unlockable sniper rifle, I think it would pretty much suit your tastes. The 50cal. is very like the M24. Though the only difference I see is being able to shoot through glass.

Personally I would recommend you unlock the G36C. It's accurate even at full auto. But that's just me. It's your choice.
